Immunization Requirements
A Special Note about Immunizations:
7th Graders will need to have the Tdap immunization and Meningo immunization **
IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENT FOR 7TH GRADERS
The New Mexico Department of Health requires all students entering 7th grade to have a vaccine called Tdap(tetanus/diptheria/pertussis). As you may know, there have been cases of pertussis (whooping cough) in our communities, so it is very important to immunize and help protect our students.
It is not too early for 6th grade students to get their Tdap and Meningo .
Other vaccines recommended are: #2 Varicella (chicken pox), and Gardasil
After receiving any vaccine, please bring shot record or other documentation to the Health Office and we will update our records.
